Application scenario

Action mechanism
VOC catalysts are generally composed of active ingredients and carriers. Active ingredients such as precious metals (platinum, palladium, etc.) or transition metal oxides can adsorb formaldehyde molecules. The carrier provides a large specific surface area, allowing the active ingredient to disperse better. When formaldehyde contacts the catalyst, the active ingredient activates the chemical bond of the formaldehyde molecule, reacts with oxygen in the air, and oxidizes and decomposes into carbon dioxide and water at a relatively low temperature to achieve formaldehyde removal.
Matters needing attention
The influence of humidity should be paid attention to. If the humidity is too high, water molecules may compete with formaldehyde for the active site of the catalyst, reducing the efficiency of aldehyde removal. Indoor humidity should be controlled within a reasonable range. Avoid exposure of the catalyst to high concentrations of contaminants, which may cause the active site to be occupied and deactivated. In addition, according to the size of the space and formaldehyde concentration, select the appropriate amount and specifications of catalyst products, regular inspection, replacement, to ensure that it continues to work effectively.
